The Management
The affairs of the Arts Council are being run by a democratically elected Office Bearers which consists of a Vice President, an Honorary Secretary, a Treasurer and 12 members of Governing Body. The District Co-ordination Officer (D.C.O., Karachi) is the Ex-Officio President of the Council.
All office bearers and members of the Governing Body are elected every year from among the members of the Arts Council. They all work voluntarily, and the Government audit department also audit the account every year. Secretary being a Chief Executive responsible for the daily work of the Council and implements the decisions taken by Governing Body. Every year after the elections, committees are formed which deal with various activities of the Council in the field of fine arts, film, music, drama, youth, women’s development, literature, publications, research, audio visual, bookings, fund raising, membership and beautification of the premises. These committees are headed by members of the Governing Body.

The Council Accounts Books are regularly audited by a firm of Chartered Accountants. |
